Assessing the risks of a security breach and considering the potential impacts of an attack are the initial elements that a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) must analyze in terms of cybersecurity. However, effectively addressing these concerns requires a high level of expertise that SMEs do not readily have access to.

Government requirements are becoming increasingly numerous, and aligning your company's demands with the services offered by suppliers is not straightforward. Charles Varin, General Manager of Cyber Quebec - a Technology Transfer Center (TTC) specializing in cybersecurity and focused on assisting SMEs in their digital security innovation processes - will address the following questions:

1. How can SMEs equip themselves to prevent the catastrophic consequences of a cyberattack?

2. Where to begin and how does the support process work to ensure compliance?
