(OSINT) Open source, close control: understanding China's OSINT ecosystem

This session will provide an overview of the Chinese OSINT ecosystem. In particular, it will show how public and private actors work together to provide the Chinese Party-State with access to technologies, tools and skills dedicated to the collection and analysis of publicly available data and information. We will focus in particular on methods for collecting and processing information from Chinese sources, notably tender databases.
