In this context, the European Union has chosen its own path with the digital identity wallet, based on privacy, interoperability, and user control. Using strategic maps and examples, the session will illustrate the challenges and choices facing Europe in the context of global trends, highlighting how technological choices—from access keys to decentralized identifiers—are shaping the next generation of digital trust.
