(C00) (INCYBER) A PQC-Roadmap for the EU: acting upon the quantum threat now!

The European Commission published a Recommendation on Post-Quantum Cryptography on April 11th 2024 to encourage Member States to develop and implement a harmonized approach as the EU transitions to post-quantum cryptography. A workstream on PQC (as part of the NIS cooperation group) was created for the member states to develop this roadmap, co-chaired by France, Germany and the Netherlands, currently with representatives of 19 EU member states.

The workstream also serves as a forum for the EU member states to exchange their progress and best practices for PQC migration.

In the first part of this masterclass, the co-chairs will outline the plan of the workstream to establish the European coordinated roadmap on PQC, and discuss first milestones for 2025.

The second part of this masterclass will be interactive. We will include questions to start interaction with the audience and leave room for additional discussion and questions.
