S02 - Ethics: the Cornerstone of CyberPeace

S02 - Ethics: the Cornerstone of CyberPeace

Wednesday, October 25, 2023 1:40 PM to 3:10 PM · 1 hr. 30 min. (Canada/Eastern)

Information

Ethics and cyberpeace are two essential pillars of today's digital world. Establishing an ethical framework for cyber conflicts requires in-depth reflection, but very often the question of ethics comes up after the fact, once the scandal has come to light. It is therefore imperative to reaffirm and redefine certain codes in light of the particular context of our times. How can this reflection take into account our cultural specificities and be part of an international context to apprehend the universal dimension imposed on us by digital technology? How can we take advantage of technology? How can we make ethics the cornerstone of cyberpeace?
