As industrial sectors embrace digital solutions and become increasingly interconnected, cybersecurity risks to IT/OT systems are escalating. This session emphasizes the need to move beyond Secure by Design, focused on building inherently secure products, toward Secure by Operations, where cybersecurity is continuously maintained and adapted throughout the asset lifecycle. Attendees will gain practical insights through tangible examples and initiatives from Schneider Electric, including how the company applies Secure by Operations principles to protect its own manufacturing sites. The presentation will provide an overview of the Installed Base Security program and demonstrate why collaboration across the value chain including asset owners, suppliers, and system integrators, is essential to improving and maintaining the security posture of critical infrastructure.
