(P04) (RESILIENCE) Maintaining OT Security: Addressing Risks from Internet-Exposed OT Devices
Tuesday, October 14, 2025 1:55 PM to 2:40 PM · 45 min. (Canada/Eastern)
Information
As utilities become more digital and interconnected, cyber risk across IT and OT systems is rising. Recent attacks on externally exposed OT endpoints show that Secure by Design principles alone are not enough. Critical infrastructure must also adopt Secure by Operations concepts to maintain and adapt protections throughout the asset lifecycle.
This session will introduce Schneider Electric’s Installed Base Security program and its role in helping utilities manage risk and maintain security over time. Attendees will gain insights from a technology supplier, an energy sector asset owner, and a government authority, who will share practical examples of how public/private collaboration has helped identify and address vulnerable assets. This partnership model is key to building resilience and fostering effective stakeholder collaboration.
